Teacher development
Workshops and classroom-embedded coaching that give educators research-backed practices they’ll actually use.
Mathematics educator, coach, and consultant — making math make sense for students, teachers, and families.
Dr. Lesa Clarkson has spent her career convinced of one thing: every learner can make sense of mathematics with the right support. That conviction grew through years in classrooms, coaching teachers, and walking alongside families who’d been told math “wasn’t for them.”
She founded Mathelp to put that belief into practice at every level — pairing rigorous, standards-based methods with the warmth and patience that turn anxiety into confidence. Whether she’s training a district’s teachers or sitting beside a single student, the goal is the same: meaningful, measurable progress.

Helping schools and districts select, align, and implement rigorous, standards-based mathematics.
Personalized, one-on-one support that rebuilds confidence and drives long-term mastery.
Connecting parents and communities to the math their children are learning — and how to support it at home.
“Math isn’t a talent you’re born with. It’s a language anyone can learn — with the right guide.”
